Swayambhunath is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple. The Tibetan name for the site means 'Sublime Trees' for the many varieties of trees found on the hill. However, Shing.kun may be a corruption of the local Nepal Bhasa name for the complex, Singgu, meaning 'self-sprung'. For the Buddhist Newars in whose mythological history and origin myth as well as day-to-day religious practice, Swayambhunath occupies a central position, it is probably the most sacred among Buddhist pilgrimage sites. For Tibetans and followers of Tibetan Buddhism, it is second only to Boudhanath.
Kathmandu Durbar Square
Kathmandu Durbar Square or Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square is the plaza in front of the old royal palace of the then Kathmandu Kingdom. It is one of three Durbar (royal palace) Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.The Durbar Square is surrounded with spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skills of the Newar artists and craftsmen over several centuries. The royal palace was originally at Dattaraya square and was later moved to the Durbar square location. The Kathmandu Durbar Square holds the palaces of the Malla and Shah kings who ruled over the city. Along with these palaces, the square surrounds quadrangles revealing courtyards and temples. It is known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, a name derived from a statue of Hanuman, the monkey devotee of Lord Ram, at the entrance of the palace.
Then drive from Kathmandu to Nagarkot
Nagarkot is a village and Village Development Committee located 32 km east of Kathmandu, Nepal in Bhaktapur District in the Bagmati Zone. At the time of the census conducted in 2011 it had a population of 4571 and had 973 houses in it.  At an elevation of 2,195 meters, it is considered one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur District. It is renowned for its sunrise view of the Himalaya including Mount Everest as well as other snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. This is the most popular rafting river in Nepal, due to its close proximity to the road of Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan. The bright green river no doubt offers a great scenery, impressive gorges and exciting rapids. Chitwan is very famous in Nepal because of its dominant production of mustard from which mustard oil is produced. It is one of the famous tourism areas of Nepal. This popularity of the mustard plantation in Chitwan is attributed to the predominant soil type of the place. The soil in chitwan is mostly of the type silt. The silty nature of the soil is in turn attributed to the flooding over the ages in the past from the rivers like Gandaki. Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. Formerly called Royal Chitwan National Park it was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It covers an area of 932 km2 and is located in the subtropical Inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal in the Chitwan district. In altitude it ranges from about 100 m in the river valleys to 815 m in the Churia Hills.

Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi district of Nepal. It is the place where Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama (Gautam Buddha). Siddhartha Gautama lived roughly between 623 and 543 BCE and he founded Buddhism as Gautama Buddha. Lumbini is one of four magnets for pilgrimage that sprang up in places pivotal to the life of the Buddha, the others being at Kushinagar, Bodh Gaya and Sarnath. Lumbini, where the Buddha lived until the age of 29, has a number of temples, including the Mayadevi temple and others under construction. Also located there is the Puskarini or Holy Pond where the Buddha's mother took the ritual dip prior to his birth and where he, too, had his first bath, as well as the remains of Kapilavastu palace. At other sites near Lumbini, earlier Buddha’s were, according to tradition, born, achieved ultimate awakening and finally relinquished earthly form.

Like Kathmandu, Pokhara is another important place to visit in Nepal. Pokhara is also known as the city of lakes. The main three lakes named Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake lie inside Pokhara. So it is known as the city of lakes. Moreover from Pokhara one can see spectacular view of 3600 mountain like Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, etc. The sightseeing places in Pokhara are David’s fall, Bindyabasini Temple, Mahendra Cave and others

Day 10: Trekking from Pokhara to Sarangkot

Sarangkot is a beautiful village and famous tourist destination of Nepal located inside Sarangkot Development Committee in Kaski District Gandaki Zone. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a total population of 5,060 with 1,010 individual households The village is located on a mountainside ridge at an altitude of 1600m with panoramic Himalayan views. From Sarangkot, on the northern direction we can see Dhaulagiri in the far west. Annapurna range is visible when the weather is clear on the same side. On the southern direction the village overlooks the city of Pokhara and its lake on the north-western outskirts of the city.

Day 11: Paragliding from Sarangkot to Pokhara
At morning, see the panoramic views of the Himalayas of Nepal from Sarangkot then start paragliding from Sarangkot to Pokhara. Then after paragliding rest for some time at hotel. After arrival, check in hotel. Overnight at hotel in Sarangkot

Day 12: Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu
