Ganesh Himal region is one of the fabulous trek in Nepal . During this trek, you will enjoy the majestic views of Ganesh I, II, III and IV peaks, glaciers, gorges, hot natural spas and quaint Tamang villages. This trek can be organized only as a full boarded camping trek,Ganesh Himal trek is a beautiful, scenic and interesting trek in a less visited trekking area in Nepal. The Ganesh Himal trek offers moutain rivers, suspension bridges, Tamang villages, deep gorges, dense forest and spectacular mountain views. Besides this you will have great contact with the local people. The Tamang people in this area are not used to visitors and are extremely curious and friendly,Ganesh Himal trek is a beautiful, scenic and interesting trek in a less visited trekking area in Nepal. Itinerary

Day to Day Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,295 m/4,273 ft.)

Arriving in Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA),Transfer by Private car/ Van (depends on size of group) to the selected hotel at thamel in Kathmandu . Stay overnight on b/b basis.

Day 02: Visit world heritage sites in Kathmandu

Full day Kathmandu sight seeing (world heritages sites) -  Bhaktapur Durbar Square,  Pashupatinath temple and Monkey temple  by tourist car/van (depends on group size) and tour guide. 

Day 03: Trisuli- Salangkhu Khola

We drive to Trisuli in the morning and have lunch near the Trisuli Electricity dam. After lunch we walk for about 3 hours to Salangkhu Khola and camp.

Day 04: Salangkhu Khola- Balche village

An easy walk and then a short climb takes us to Kalawale village for lunch. After lunch we proceed to the big Tamang village of Balche for our overnight camp.

Day 05: Balche village- Gonga

We take an easy walk from Balche village through a forest and camp with peak of Langtang lirung and Gosainkunda in good view.

Day 06: Gonga

Acclimatization rest at Gonga. Rest and view of the panoramas from Gonga

Day 07: Gonga- Singla

We walk through rhododendom forest to camp either at Rupchet, a title pasture, or up on the singla Pass (4600) the singla pass offers spectacular views of Langtang Lirung,Ganesh Himal,Boudha Him Peak, Him chuli, Machhapuchare, Annapurna south and Annapurna II.

Day 08: Singla- Serthung village

We walk down through pine and rhondondendon forest to the tamang village of serthung and set up camp with goo9d views of mountains all around.

Day 09: Serthung village- Laba

A sort flat trail and then gradual descent passing through Barang village and then crossing the ankhukhola take us to laba a big Tamang village.

Day 11: Laba- Mongeythanti

We climb gently over a hill and then descend through forests to camp at Mongeythanti.

Day 12: Mongeythanti- Dumchet village

A gradual walk down to our camp at Dumchet village.

Day 13: Dumchet village- Budigandaki

We take gradual walk today to Basari and camp near the Budigandaki river.

Day 14: Budigandaki- Arughat

We walk along the bank of the Budigandaki river and stop at Arughat Bazaar for the night. There are tea shop and police station.

Day 15: Arughat- Khanchowk

We gradually climb the Khanchowk Danda crossing the Mukti Khola and camp for the night.

Day 16: Khanchowk- Gorkha

We cross a ridge today and walk gradually up hill to Gorkha camping near the old palace.

Day 17: Gorkha- Kathmandu

We have a tour of Gorkha palace, the Palace of King Prithivi Narayan shah who united Nepal in 1881 AD and visit the Bazaar, before driving back to Kathmandu.

Day 18: Departure

Transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport for final departure
